MUSEUM INFORMATION
The exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Amphipolis is clearly about the wealthy, ancient city of Amphipolis as well as the wider region. Among the many findings, you shall admire ancient children toys, golden wreaths, burial urns, and also golden jewels and coins belonging to Philip II and Alexander the Great.

The Archaeological Museum of Amphipolis is at the estuaries of the river Strymon, at a distance of 2 km from the highway Thessaloniki - Kavala, at the junction of Serres.
